I just upgraded my friends XBOX's harddrive to a 320GB
well, the F partitition is around 120GBs, but the E drive is 4GB

i used XBOX HDM for the first time, and it looks like it went well. Then i used the Deluxe Auto Installer Softmod. How do i get the rest of the space? Can i just increase the E drive, or do i need to create a G drive?

It's easier just to create a G drive, causes much less hassle.

Depends on the bios.

If's it a partition 7 enabling bios, just go ahead and format G:

If not, then flash one that is or patch your (edit the config file for your bios if it has one ala the x2.5XXX series)

With softmods I always use xboxhdm and nothing else. Never use slayer's on a softmodded xbox.
