EDIT: Im sorry, i accidantly clicked post already, this Q&A is not yet finished. Expect it to be in a half hour or so

Q. Can i use the XDK in combination with my unmodded/chipped box
A. Yes, using a Bios loader, preferably PBL.

Q. Where can i get the XDK? Its not in the 'usual places'.
A. Try torrents, however, the site i got it from recently went down.

Q. How come when i try to boot the yorohisho (or sumthing like that) with PBL, it doesnt work?
A. You must have a Bootable From Media bios (short: BFM). See below:

Q. Which BFM bios works for 1.6?
A. This one is not on Xbins, but is called Adoubeur Loader, a short Google should suffice.

Q. Which PBL works for 1.6?
A. Try the Metoo loader, its on xbins.

Q. Which files should i copy to the harddisk?
A. (Copied from tutorials..)

Sorry, cant edit it anymore..
Q. I already have a dashboard.xbx in my E:
A. This seems to be the rare occasion with some bioses(still gotta check which). I dunno why tho. I also dont really have a solution atm.. It should be possible to edit the Debug BFM Bios to look for dashb0ard.xbx or sumthing like that.

Q. If i want to launch apps in the XDK, where should i put my apps?
A. In the original E in Xbox Neighbourhood, or in E\Devkit on FTP/Modified DXT

Q. The XDK wont work with my MS C++.. Boohooo!
A. You have got to have Visual Studio.Net(!!) installed before installing the XDK. If you have correctly, the installer should have the full installation option, if you dont have .NET, its greyed out.

Q. Ive got it all working, now what?
A. Try downloading the latest XBMC source, and try to compile, if you succeed and it shows up automaticly in your XDK menu, congratz! You now have a fully working XDK.

Q. I still have questions!!!11!1
A. Post them in the forum!!!11!1!1
