Be forewarned that in no way am I stating that these are the only places to buy spells. It's very probable that I missed a few. Some of the spells are not available at all times. In some cases some of the Mages in the guilds won't sell certain spells in certain circumstances. (i.e. - if they are sitting down or it's a certain time of day.) (* denotes that I wasn't sure at the time of skill level necessary to use the spell)

I think that the people reading this thread can easily determine who the fool is. I am just surprised that you actually dragged this tread up again.

Maybe if you actually posted the source, and read the copyright notice and terms of use of the source material you wouldn't be in this mess.

Maybe if you didn't say things like "My list", "possible I missed a few", "I wasn't sure", which are phrases that are not in the source document, you wouldn't have looked like a plagerizer.

When you source documents, using phrases like "Found again", "Found this" are not adequate. When you wrote your book report in elementry school did your bibliography look like this:

1. Found it.
2. Found again
3. Found this.
4. Found book.

How are we to determine what was "Found". It could easily mean that you Found the spells yourself.

Next time don't post content in whole that is clearly copyright, if you do post the complete work at least mention the source when you do. It is okay to post small sections when it is relevent to the point you are trying to make, this is "fair use". Typically this is a paragraph or two however, not pages worth of material.

As this is a message board you don't have to site all of your sources, but don't try to pass other people's work off as your own.

I merely asked a question. There's no need to attack me because you stole this information without crediting the author(s). Like thax pointed out, if you don't have permission to repost it from another site, then don't post it. Linking to an off-site FAQ is fine, but you never once had the decency to so much as link to the source material in any of your "copied-and-pasted" threads.

The rules of this site clearly state that you cannot post news in-full from other sites. You can, however, paraphrase a small portion and link to the source. While this rule focuses on news articles of other sites, common sense would tell you that it also applies to stategy guides or FAQs/walkthroughs.

I understand that you want to help others out, but not giving credit where it's due is called plagiarism. Good intentions aren't enough to tolerate it.

I hope you learn something from this whole ordeal.

I never stated it was or tried to pass it off as mine. As you've seen in my other threads where I also stated I found them on other boards, I'm not one to pass off other people's work. This is an internet forum, not school btw.

Anyone with enough brains should know this was "found" somewhere else on another board. It wasn't copyrighted where I "found" it. So again, how was I to know it was copyrighted in the first place? I stated "Found again:" Notice the ":" Maybe you're the one that needs to go back to elementary school because you can't even spell elementary! blink.gif much less plagiarizer.

Sorry, for trying to help out this board, as I seen it really needed it.

For the last time, I never stole anything. Never once do you see me say this was/is/or ever has been mine. Go to any 360 forum that has sections about Oblivion and you'll see threads just like this. There's tons of FAQ makers, Strategy guides, online and books alike that has this exact same thing. But, when I find one that has no reference about a copyright, I get blamed for trying to help out a site. I would have also posted who org created it if I knew who did. Just because that link has spell locations on it, doesn't mean he was the first to find them all. Search around, there's tons of these everywhere and they're all made by someone different. So who am I really supposed to say wrote it? biggrin.gif

So next time I see someone post some pics of a new game or old, I'll be sure to jump in and say, "Wait, you didn't provide a link to the org person who made the game, found the pic, where it's hosted, etc...."

Oh shit, my avatar has a TIE fighter in it. Guess ole George is going to be mad huh?! laugh.gif It is his work.

Ok, let's just say for one second I was trying to pass off someone else's work. WHY would I type found again: at the top very very similar to my other "found" threads that you'll find the links to a few posts up?

I'm not mad, I hardly come to this forum, but seen where someone has posted in it. That's why it took me so long to respond to it. I sure don't live my life on this forum. Believe me, there's tons of better 360 forums out there. Hell, even the XBox.com one. Can't even view new posts in this place. blink.gif

i apprediate your tie fighter picture, and i hadn't seen a list of who and where exactly to find
all the spells. for that i thank you. i hope you didn't plagerize on purpose or at all, but i can't
vouge for that. im sure it was an accident or like you said, you wouldnt have written 'found'
i will agree with the others in that it was a little bit shady or confuzzling.

Hi,
I think AClayeJ is right in posting a topic about the spells, without it i wouldnt have got 100% invisibility with the chameleon spell, which P0wns btw...

But i think tanx is also right because there should be a link, even if its to the site you got some info from, it would at least provide a basic reference to the base of the topic, even if it was only something like, xbox-scene - search for oblivion spells, its a basic and simple reference,

anyway

this guide was a good idea and the "I" in it could mean that the person who originally wrote the guide which was then enhanced could mean that the original person wasn't sure about the spell location or level of use, which he/she was hoping somone would fill in sometime, thats where AClayeJ comes in, but at the same time, she/he might have wanted to do it themselves....

at anyrate, i think you should drop the copyright subject,

This is a forum for games, not an insult or your doing things wrong forum...
