Has anyone gotten any of the Super Metroid PAR cheats that affect sram to work (that give items other than missles)? If so, can someone post a code and the steps needed to make it work. I can't seem to make any of these codes work. For example:

PAR (sram codes start with 70):

70801204 Add ball
70801205 Add ball and varia suit
70801207 Add ball, varia suit, spring ball
70801227 Add ball, varia suit, spring ball, gravity suit
7080122F Add ball, varia suit, spring ball, screw attack, gravity suit
70801310 Add bomb
70801311 Add bomb and hi-jump boots
70801331 Add bomb, hi-jump boots and speed boots
70801333 Add bomb, all boots
70801601 Get wave beam
70801603 Get ice and wave beams
70801607 Get ice, wave, and spazer beam
7080160F Get ice, wave, spazer, and plasma beams
70801710 Add charge beam

Add
8180BE1C
8086CC00

to your codes and then restart the game. Then go into the pause menu, press R and enable to things you added.

I've never had any problems, are those codes you've made on your own, or gotten them of websites?
Anyway, you can find both game genie and par codes Here

Being an advanced cheat finder, I can teach you how you'd go about finding those values yourself.
(I'm not sure if v 1.5 has a way to search for codes, and if it does, it has options for greater than, less than, not equal to, or equal to before, but I' going to mention how you'd go about finding those values)

1. The easiest way you'd go about doing this, is having multiple savestates, (Don't know if this's supported, but if not, then fine) and save a state, or multiples with powerups, if multiple stats, with different powerups.

2. Next, Start a search, grab the powerup, then use the search engine and enter "Greater Than Before"

3. Get hit a few times, or go to another location, then use the search engine and enter "Equal To Before".

4. Now, load your state, or a different state that don't have that powerup, or another and enter either Less than, or equal to before (Less than if you only have one savestate option to load your previous game before you grabbed the powerup; not equal to before if you got a different savestate that's near a different powerup)

5. Repeat these steps till you've narrowed them down to <10, then test them.

I got the codes from here: http://www.world-of-...r_metroid.shtml

Aparently they require a "Master" code that dohopoki posted

8180BE1C
8086CC00

Of course that's not mentioned anywhere on that page.

Thanks for the help guys
