I backed up NBA Street vol 2 on my hard drive but when I try to run it from the Hard drive it just resets back to EVO X. All of my other games I backed up run fine. Any help?

*please use the search button*

now the answer:

Most new games such as the one you have reported need media patching (simple patch) which can be down by downloading a auto-patcher (Craxtion) or using a simple hex-editor and changing a line. I suggest using craxtion because it is very easy and you really do not have to do anything.

p.s - the file that you need to patch is called the default.xbe

also note: You might want to turn of IGR (IN GAME RESET) in your evox.ini file (3 Locations)

I was under the impression that the latest X2 preformed a dynamic patching of the default.xbe. Is this not correct? So even with the latest x2 bios the .xbe on the newer games still needs to be patched?

Thanks

You are correct - it auto patches. So there is no further patching needs.

I was under the impression that the new x2 bios wasn't 100% perfected yet, so you *might* still need to patch the game

if you call imperfection the inabililty to adapt to the future, then yes. the current x2 wont be able to handle tomorrows media check.

and maybe todays coffee blender wont be able to handle tomorrows coffee bean. who knows.
