Go ahead and say it out loud!! I don't think even 10% of person on this board will understand what "Ostie de Calisse de tabarnak de ciboire de charue de Canada de criss a marde" means!!!

I don't care it's real québecers language, they should theach this kind of stuff in school!!!

I promess I'm gonna take a decent picture next time because now it's 3 in the morning and I'm in a state where every young people in quebec must be... totally wasted!!!

Hi, I've been a lurker for a while, but couldn't resist showing off my car setup so I decided to finally register for a login! biggrin.gif

The screen is actually the factory GPS navigation screen, tapped into via an RGB video switch. The Xbox is installed in the trunk and is controlled via remote control (and a Xantech IR distribution system). The power inverter is under the driver's seat.

Thanks. It doesn't look like it's readily available at retail anymore, but there's tons of them on Ebay still. http://search.ebay.c...center extender

1. Why haven't you secured your Xbox or padded it for bumps? It would be a shame to loose your hard drive.

2. Power inverter? That's a tad bit wasteful, man. If you have the skills, you should change power supplies so that you can run without an inverter. I think there is a tut in the hardware section.

I seriously love your install, though. It looks very slick, and the fact that you added a switch makes it even better. Do you have the sound all wired up, because if you do, that would be sweet. Thousands of tunes in your car! My dad has a Phatbox in his car, which is basically a hard drive that plugs into the CD changer. It is awesome.

It does look like it's padded or attached, look at each corner there are things there that certainly aren't part of his xbox.

Under the original pictures is a link, that link shows more pictures of the whole install process. The Xbox is sitting on pads as well as being secured by two brackets.
Very nice install too. cool.gif Pity I couldn't get an Xbox inside my car (well I could if I tried but a clapped out Rover 218 Diesel doesn't deserve an install of that quality). love.gif
