I'm just wondering what bioses will work with the Smartxx chips, particularly the one mentioned in the title. I would also like to know which bios you are running and why. Thanks.

Any bios will work with the chip, it depends on your xbox version.... this chip is irrelevant to your bios selection. For a 256k bios use x2 4981 or 4983 if your box is ver 1.0-1.5, or m8+16 if you have a ver 1.6

If you want a 512k bios use X2 5035(old for pre 1.6 or the 1.6 variant if you have a 1.6)
If you choose to use a 512k bios make sure you do the appropriate bank config in the os screen to allow a 512k bank...simple instructions to do so can be found on the smartxx website.
