Just down loaded PxHDDLoader 1.1 and got it running on my box.
When I run the program I'm at a window that has a partition 6 and above that reads no games. Where do the games really get installed to? I have a backup of my Halo on f: that I run with no problem but it doesn't get picked up by the PxHDD loader. What would be the anvantages over ftp other than there's no need to transfer the files from the box and back again to the f: partition. Any answers would be appreciated.

PX HDDLoader only see games in the F:HDDLoader folder
and then they have to be in the PxGame000 folder to show up.
I use PX all the time but I rename the folders it make with the games
name, then they dont show up in the HDDLoader app.

you also can use boXplore to transfer from Xbox DVD drive to Xbox HD.

If you don't see them in the HDDLoader folder how do you launch them?

With my setup would boxplorer work for me? I read the readme file and it was tested on a matrix mod.

The games show up in the HDD Loader folder always... He was saying that they don't show up in the HDD Loader launch menu AFTER he renames the folder to the name of the game.

If you leave the folder name alone, all will be fine and dandy.

Yes, you can use boxplorer to accomplish what you need to do, but PX HDD Loader has certain advantages explained in the nfo file.

so then HOW do you get the HDD loader app to call the games what you want them to be called. I ran into a problem as I own a couple of xbox demo games and HDD calls them BOTH xbox demos. then it overwrites one of them and its a big mess.

How ccan I call one "outlaw golf Christmas" and the other one "Moto GP" which came with the LIVE kit? dry.gif
