Trouble Connecting Pc To Xbox With Flashfxp
Posted 01 August 2006 - 08:01 PM
The connection was working fine a few weeks ago but now flashFXP is coming up with a message saying:
"connection failed (connection lost)" i would appreciate if anyone has had this problem or knows what it could be.
Ive tried other file transfer programs and am getting the same message. The only thing i can think of is that maybe the evox settings are messed up.

Try a different cable. Also check to make sure the lights are on for the ethernet on the Xbox. The port could have gone bad.
Hi mate thanks a million for your fast reply.
Iv tried a different cable & checked the lights on the Xbox ethernet & there both on. The thing is the PC knows the Xbox is there it just won`t connect when i click connect on FlashFXP
Have you any other ideas i could try cuz im lost here.

Try this tutorial and see if you can connect.
I tried that & i got the following error "Windows cannot access this folder.Make sure you typed the file name correctly & that you have permission to access the folder. Details: The Connection with the server was reset"
Do you think there might be a setting on the Xbox thats wrong & thats whats stopping it from connecting?
Thanks again for you help cuz im lost here.

Try setting your gateway to what your router is. It may be 192.168.0.1
Still no joy mate
