Hello.
I've flashed my 47D with "Xtreme firmware for Hitachi 46D and 47D Xbox 360 V1.1". After a few retrys the batchprocedure completete without any failure.
When i connected the drive back to the 360 i always get the E64 Error (DVD Drive Timeout??). I've also can't open the drive slot by pressing the eject button.
The drive won't be recognised in the bios any more, and so SLAX CD can't recognise it, to set in in mode b.

Is there any solution, how i can flash another firmware to drive?

Thanks for any help

But the drive isn't recognized by anything now
not BIOS
not Windows
not SLAX

I'm having the same problem. I even manually opened the dvd drive and nothing wil recognize the drive. The laser doesn't even light up when I boot up the 360.

I haven't tried the wire trick yet.
The power cable is connected biggrin.gif

I think, the problem is that the firmware on the dvd is corrupted or something like that....

please, there is anything we can do?
reset it to default or something without the computer?
change the drive?
its not possible to reinstal any firmware because the xbox:
- dont eject anymore
- bios dont detect
- neither with slax
thanks anyway =]
