Hi

I have a Linksys Wireless-G Game adapter that is giving me trouble.

If I set the IP of the adaptor to 192.168.0.101 which is valid.

What do I set the network IP in XBMC?

sorry if i take over your thread, but i have a question that goes along with this....as for your question, i would set the same IP in your XBMC

if i instal a wireless NIC card, would that bypass my broken NIC orginally?

yes.

if you can, disable the broken one.
right click on the my network places icon on the desktop and choose properties.

find the broken connection and right click on that one and choose disable.

then no.

The wireless adaptor plugs into the nic on you xbox.

I got mine to go by using dhcp in xbmc and the dash.
