Hi all, i hope that im writing this in the correct part, i had my xbox 360 modded on friday night, brought it home all excited (as u do) but had no games to try...borrowed a few games of my m8 this morning to try and none of his games will play in my machine although they play perfect on his, we had our machines modded in the same place within days of each other, the only thing different is his is the full package and mine is only the core system, his has the 20gig HD and mine only has the small 64meg memory card and he is on live and i am not, the cd drive in my machine is the hitachi (i think, the one with the 2 holes in the front) i have tried a few different games, my m8's were all on DATAWRITE DVD+R DL discs, 2 copied on a sony dvd writer and 1 copied on a pioneer A11, all copied with clone cd, so i thought it might be the media brand that was the issue with them not working in my machine so i tried copying one myself on my NEC dual layer writer on a traxdata DVD+R DL , it didn't work, i took it to my m8's house and it went straight in so i can't have copied it wrong, the day i was in getting it modded i asked the guy who modded my machine about the hitachi drive he said there used to be a problem with that drive and playing copies but that the software was more updated now and it made no difference what type of drive the machine had they all worked perfectly well once they had been modded, he told me that the traxdata were the discs they guaranteed would work so that was what i bought, i only have 1 option left now before i pick up the phone at 9am on the dot monday morning and that is to give my m8 1 of my blank TRAXDATA DVD+R DL and ask him to copy me a game on that disc using his pioneer A11...that is the only thing i can think of now, it seems strange that his games play on his machine and won't on mine and then i copy 1 with clonecd on to one of my own discs and it won't play in my machine but plays perfect on his.....if anyone has had this problem or knows of anything that i can do please let me know or if you have any links to anywhere please post them so i can read them as i have done a search on google but found nothing

These are not backup's of your own games, games you physically bought yourself and own with receipt.
