Pioneer 111d Problem

Got the drive and read up here i need to update, i ran the update. I get a error that says "Failed to move to normal mode" What is wrong?

Update?, Update for what?, If you mean firmware then there's no need to 1.19 will work fine.

Yes firmware dangerous brothers 1.23
Im worried about the error, is it fine?

What error?, I haven't heard anything about errors, The 1.19 firmware will work fine, I used 1.19 before i upgraded to 1.23 and had no problems.

The drive isnt being detected as a burner in clonecd now

Ok i figured it out. It made a extra cd-rom drive that was preventing it. I had to uninstall the pioneer and the extra cd-rom drive. Restart in safe-mode, and reinstall the firmware. Every thing seems to be fine, now i need to test a burn with it.

There is no need to flash these drives. Works right out of the box. Try putting the factory firmware back on it.
