Splashes go into your 'XBMC>media' folder, remember to rename the current 'splash.png' to something like 'splash2.png' then apply your new splash.png into the folder.

Themes are usually in XPR format (makes it easy to choose new themes from appearance settings under system blade, they go into your 'XBMC>skin>MC360>media' folder.

Also any sounds (may as well tell you this while your asking about themes and splashs') you have go into 'XBMC>skin>MC360>sounds' (if they are sound packs for MC360) or they can go into (as long as they have the sounds.xml file in a containing folder, just like the bursting bubbles sound pack) 'XBMC>sounds' folder.

Hope that helps wong_ma wink.gif

The splash is the picture that shows right before XBMC starts and a theme contains images that make up a skin, any images not found in a theme are then taken from the textures.xpr
