i was wondering what happened to the xbit chips why doesnt anybody sell them anymore i looked everywhere even the links posted in the buy section,devinio never has any in stock,these chips are great if anybody knows where i can buy 1 that would be cool if they dont make them anymore i was wondering whats a good normal chip i could buy budget $30 nothing fancy just to add to the living room play some videos and music plus games and has to be solderless as i still cant mod hehe:)

The xbits just were too unreliable and problematic - most people found that they would work for a while, then dislodge themselves very easily. Soldering is the way to go anyway, its much easier than you would think and is worth the effort in the long run.

If you REALLY want a solderless chip, you would have to buy one of the newer chips that are on the market and a solderless adaptor to go with it. Again they arent really very reliable but work for some people.
