I have a V1.6 xbox with a SmartXXX OPX 2Mb chip installed. Everything worked fine I formated the system with slayer 1.6 and then one day I was changing setting in mediaCenter and the system stalled. I rebooted and ever since the SmartXXX splash screen flashes for a second and then black screen no noise nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks

This is due to your QuickBoot settings...

Go over to the SmartXX website (ww.smartxx.com), hit the forums there and find a post from me, as part of my sig there is a usage manual, you should find this helps.

BUT to quickly answer...

Turn on using the POWER button
When the Eject LED turns RED, press EJECT
You will now be sitting in the SmartXX OS Menu, from here select a BIOS accordingly

Sounds like you messed up your BIOS, or the BIOS is pointing to something that no longer exists.

Another method would be to use the FTP utility (Ed@Chip) to replace these missing files so you can reboot to something worthwhile.
