ok, i ftped evo.ini and evoxdash.xbe to the xbox. Now i can directly boot to xbox without a cdrw.

and i burned dvdx iso to a cdrw and able to view a dvd from there. But my question:

How do you put dvdx on the xbox, so i don't have to boot from cd, i can't find anything on that. and cdrw content can't be read from computer.

Also, how do you copy games to the xbox HD, so i can load the game without the original DVD, just from the HD.

BTW, it seems tutorials from the website doesn't cover what's next after bios installation, dashboard installation and ftp.

i like to figure things out myself, but kind of hard if there is no tutorials.

Thanks for your help.

to put dvdx s/w on xbox hdd just FTP files to . . .

e:\apps\dvd\

And make necessary changes to evox.ini

[Misc]

AutoLaunchGames = No
AutoLaunchDVD = No
DVDPlayer = "e:\apps\dvd\default.xbe"

Add to evox launch menu by using item statement or AutoAddItem feature.

use above guide but FTP them back to Xbox HDD . ..

i.e.

f:\games\halo\

use folowing in evox.ini

Section "Games"
{
AutoAddItem "e:\games\"
AutoAddItem "f:\games\"
SortAll
}

Install an xbox application that is designed to backup games on your xbox. I use pxhdloader from slayers auto installer 2.1. You might want to download this file and make it an iso and burn it on a dvd r or cdrw, Slayer does it all for you with a push of a button!!!
