Hey i steam my tv shows from my computers HDD to xbmc. It works like a charm. The only problem i have is with .rm files. I have XBMC 09-06-2006 BLINGBLING I was wondering if there was any way to play these files through xbmc. I know the files arent corrupt because i can play them on my computer fine.

Just when i think i have the hang of this xbmc thing, I find another hurdle...

I'd check the XBMC section in the software forum. those punks know there stuff generally about XBMC a lot more than us noobs here in newbie chat

RealMedia, the bastard step child of any other decent encoding format...

1) Don't go anywhere near the XBMC forum while you're running an unsupported build. Just asking for trouble. Get/use a T3CH build from xbins and you'll be on better terms (might even solve your problems).

2) Do you have all the proper codecs installed? Like the RealMedia *3260.dll files?

RM files are indeed supported an will play unless they are generally crap. A good rule of thumb is that if Mplayer on your PC won't play them (well) then neither will XBMC's.
