I got a 160 GB HDD in my Xbox (the XBox only recognizes something like 137 GB of it). But my E drive has 5 GB left while my F Drive (the drive that stores all my games and apps) has about 6.5 GB left on it.

I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to fill up the F drive all the way to the point where there would be like 1 GB left of free space? Could that cause like slowdown and other problems?

Also in order to free up about 2.5 GB of space on my F drive could I move all my roms onto the E Drive into a created directory like E:/Roms?

thanks!

The Xbox could care less about the F partition when it comes to game performance, essentially. I've got less than a gig of free space there and no problems.

You can indeed move your roms to E:\whatever as long as you tell the emulators where to look.

Yes, the xbox doesn't care about F:\. But watch how much you put on E:\ I have had problems with xbox's were the entire e:\ partion was pretty much full. I started getting corrupt game saves and having varied performance issues.
