I no theres probly a post just like this but i couldnt find it so....
Anyone no how to unlock the 20gigs from the v1.1 boxs i no theres ways for the 1.0 but it doesnt work for the 20 gigs
any ideas??

are u sure its a 20 gig drive?? mine as well as MANY others are only 10 GIG!

yep dead sure its a 20 gig seagate the xbox is a pal version from australia

What's the model # of the drive? I've modded heaps of v1.1 Australian PAL boxes, and never seen a 20G.

BTW, if you want to unlock the full capacity of the drive, the normal EvoX method works fine.

i reckon it would just be a cse of formatting F: to re-coup the extra space.

if certain a 20g then follow this . . .

Actually I don't think there's a 20gig ATM, but I remember seeing on megagames that MS will be replacing the 8-10 gig HDD because they don't make them no more and it cost to much buying an older HDD, so they were going to replace it with a 20, but I ain't to sure.

actually no, you got a 10.2 gig hard drive, look it up on seagate's website or follow this link Seagate Product Specs

...but I put it in there.

Where does it say 20GB?

1 LBA = 512 bytes

20,005,650 LBA = 10,242,8928 bytes = 10.2GB
