I'm thinking of buying a 360(hdd version) in the next few weeks but would like to know how easy it is to modify the DVDrom (playing backup games)

Also I have a pioneer DVR-105 will this be able to backup and play backed up games ?

Thanks in advance

the burner should be fine and easiest depends on the user.

Pioneer DVR105 isnt dual layer so wont burn 360 backups!

Get yrself a 111D, theyre about 23 in the uk from scan.co.uk & burn perfect right outta the box.

duel layer....that makes it sound like the two layers don't get a long.

Yes single layer DVD-R's will still work but for 360 games you will need to buy DVD+R DL.
