Is There Any Way To Play Halo 2 Without A Hard Drive?

i have a 360 without a hard drive and was wondering if there is a way to play halo 2 on it without buying the $100 drive. my original xbox doesnt work and halo 2 is the only original game i want to play on it. is it possible to use the hard drive in my original xbox and make my 360 think its the real one?
