Its always a bitch taking that white power cable out of harddrives, especially in the xbox cuz thers only that tiny amount of space. I usually use a screwdriver or something to pull it out. I think a few times i tugged on it using the colored wires. I noticed last night while my xbox was on (the case was off) that there wer peices of the wire sticking out of one of the wires, prolly from me yanking on it......

SOOooooo...... Being a dumbass i grab the screwdriver next to me, and attempt to push down the little peices of wire back into the hole... *SPARK* *brr.....* xbox powers down

me: "shit"

things going thru my head-
Nvida chip burned out
Harddrive burned out
Fucked power supply
There goes my game saves......
At least it wasnt my 120 gig......
I think i still got my eeprom saved on PC....

^all that in like 5 seconds

Powered up, Blob animation so i knew that the mobo was working, X2 logo = modchip works, Halo booted = dvd drive working, campaign mode, i see all my master cheifs = hdd working.

Now im sure this could have been a lot worse, just warning everyone, use common sense when fcking with the xbox while its on.

And stay in school. And dont do drugs.

good rule is to never have ur xbox on when teh case is open.. saves u from alot of problems.

you could have just grounded the wire too, that may be why nothing messed up
