Hi everyone!

I've Already aplied the Dash fall update, without any trouble, but I'm having many trouble with DVD-Video, I can't see many DVDs actually working in another (not modded) 360's, I've heard there was a bugfix but never tried to update till today, but can't reflash

Drive: TSCorp 943
Chipset: Intel 915 express (not sure at all but worked before)
Command: mtkflash /SATA w X42A.BIN (Without /SATA flag won't work or gets another chip)

I've tried reading the flash too and only checking the flash, but can't do anything, whatever case I ever tried the response was the same

ERR: Can't open input file.

What the heck did just happend to my drive?

Any chances MS have bloqued the firmware from been manipulated?

Or maybe I can't reflash it again.

And thinking about the PC, I've updated the BIOS, maybe that could be the problem too.

Any help will be appreciated

mtkflash cannot find x42a.bin file that's why. did you put them on the same folder or directory? did you named your hacked firmware to x42a.bin?

That could be possible, but checked twice and again, and every command (not including any read or write commands) give the same response.

Well, never seen something like this before, I'm not so experinced in this, but I can assure, by the mods made by myself to my consoles, I'm not mistaken in directories and stuff.

And for the record, im running from a USB Stick, and disabled BIOS calls for ATA drives.

Try "mtkflash w /sata x42a.bin", since I think the w needs to be directly after mtkflash. Also try with the /m added in there as well.
