I'm really scared of fucking my xbox; so which is the easiest?
Most noob-proof?
ect.?
And do either one of these require a telnet connection?

i'm not totally sure what tsop it is but i know my xbox is a 1.4 or maybe a 1.5

Open the box (you will need to anyways to join the write enable points) and see if you have a winbond or not. It will help us out in telling you where to go next.

Yep Yep, they sure are. I practiced on an old Sound Blaster PCI card, and got good at joining points on that. I have a radio shack 15watt iron, and some 0.33 (i think) solder. I got the iron up to temp, dabbed alittle bit of solder on the tip, and joined points on the SB card over and over. After about 8 of em, I did the same thing on my xbox.

I let my iron heat up (30w), heat both points briefly, put some solder on the first point and drag it to the second. It is easy but if you havent soldered much, definetly practice.

what DID you do? I assume you soldered the points. since you said you have a winbond, you need to use a raincoat 0.7 gamesave exploit.
