My 57DJ completed the flash process 100% using Maximus-Garyopa_XTRM-HITACHI_v2_3_Stealth. When trying to play a known good backup I get "To play this disk you must put it in a xbox 360 console" Can anyone tell me what i could possibly be doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Do originals work? What media/burner were used for the backup? What other system (drive and version) did the backups work on?

I have previously flashed 2 ver 46 and 2 ver 47. I am using Pioneer 111D To burn backups with clonecd. I am using Verbatim DL @ 2.4. The games work on all 4 other units.

Flash back to original firmware, and see if it works again.

Hey!!

I had the same exact problem after flashing my v47. I just unplugged the power cable and waited about 5-10min and it started working perfectly, originals and backups. I have reflashed my v47 several times and sometimes it just gives that error message for some reason, and all I can do to fix it is to uplug the power cable form the back of the box and wait.

I think it has something to do with not switching out of mode B properly. As this has hapened also when I've just switched it to mode B with the 'tray out' method. Then even if I do nothing to it and then witch it out of Mode B by restarting the box with the tray in it gives that strange error message unless I let it "rest" for a while. Once the error messge goes away it never comes back until you switch it to Mode B again uhh.gif

If you surf the forums you will see several poeple hve been getting that message. Don't worry, your xbox isn't bricked.

Hope that helps.
