I'm aware,I mean the ISO it creates... is that the only ISO that works for the xbox? is it like a certain type of ISO meant for the xbox? or can I use normal images?

Well, it is a normal image of sorts. A GDF image. And yes, that's the image type the Xbox needs for applications if that's what you're asking.

your answer is no, you do not need quix, but there are only a few programs that will work for creating the xbox iso file. Craxtion is a program that i used and i prefer quix over that one with avalaunch and quix i found to be the quickest and most reliable way to create your iso from disk. i forget the other program i have heard of but it is suppose to be hard to find. every time i try to burn something with nero though it always f_cks it up. i use recordnow or dvd decrypter and never have any problems.
