I was following the tutorial located here for a simple tsop flash, I have done a few v1.0 boxes and this seems just as simple it is just that the lpc bus is unfilled on this one and I'm not sure how to go about soldering the wire on the bottom of the motherboard.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your question is a bit confusing. You are saying that you have unfilled lpc holes so you don't know where to solder the jumper to? Just solder the wire to that same lpc hole, it doesn't matter if its filled or not. That point is just a convenient 5v source, so in reality you could use any other point that has 5v, of which there are many.
Make sure you are actually dealing with a sharp tsop before doing this, many people mistakenly believe that "ST" is sharp(I don't know why), and be sure to leave those points disconnected right until its actually time to flash, as the box can "hang" otherwise.
