Basically the title says everything. I have a variable temperature heat gun. Before I try and fix my 0102 error xbox, I was wondering what temperature to set it at. Thanks for any and all advice!

My heat gun has a high and a low setting. The low is 500 degrees (maybe 600 I forget) and the high is 1,000 degrees.

From personal experience with the "heat gun trick" believe me when I say you will definitely want the high setting. Apply for about 2 to 2.5 minutes as shown in the YouTube video.

After doing this 10-20 times and almost any day I wanted to play my 360, I gave in and finally bought a replacement one. The heat gun is only a temp fix, not a permanent one.
