Turned passive off:

150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.

I am pretty sure i know what the problem is, it occurs when both the host and client are behind an NAT firewall. If he opens port 20 on his firewall (yes 20 - it is the data port for ftp) then i can get it but until then.. sad.gif

BTW, any websites host the 84MB movie pack? I am just getting started with MXM and it would look 10,000 times better with movies for games!

Thanks

I'm on a firewall, I get this:

CODE
STATUS:>   Getting listing ""...
STATUS:>   Connecting to ftp server 4.42.16.28:21 (ip = 4.42.16.28)...
STATUS:>   Socket connected. Waiting for welcome message...

STATUS:>   Login successful.
COMMAND:> PWD

STATUS:>   Home directory: /
COMMAND:> FEAT

STATUS:>   This site doesn't support the 'features' command.
COMMAND:> REST 100

COMMAND:> REST 0

Works just fine. tongue.gif

My firewall must be a real bastard because :

WinSock 2.0
Connecting to 4.42.16.28
Connected to 4.42.16.28 Port 21
220 Serv-U FTP Server v3.0 for WinSock ready...
USER xbox
331 User name okay, need password.
PASS (hidden)
230 User logged in, proceed.
SYST
215 UNIX Type: L8
PWD
257 "/" is current directory.
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PORT 10,0,0,2,9,72
200 PORT Command successful.
LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.

Does your firewall do Network Address Translation, because I'm behind a router so perhaps thats why it is different for me. I have had this problem before and the server opening port 20 solved it... blink.gif

Hey thanks for doing that, I forgot to add that 21 also needs to be open wink.gif
If it doesnt work it must be a problem on my end.
Thanks, I look forward to hopefully getting hold of your videos!

Thanks for sharing your collection. If you enable uploading to your site I would be happy to send you the Harry Potter: COS clip I have.

Let me know.
