Ok, so i wana hook up my xbox 360 wirelessly to the internet, but im not about to lay out 100 dollars for the microsoft adapter unless i absolutely have to.. i was reading some places that you could use the 20 dollar CNet CWD-854 Wireless-G USB Dongle as an alternative with a little bit of setting up, is this true? if so could i have some more info on it, and if not what are my other alternatives that wont make me pay 100 bucks?

It's in the PINNED:

Can I use 3rd party Wireless network adapters?
You cannot use 3rd party USB based wireless adapters. ONLY the official MS wireless USB adapter will work.
You can however, use just about any Ethernet based wireless adapter.
