My 360 Was Stolen

Hey, im new here and I was just wondering if 1800 4my xbox will be able to fax me a copy of the retail value of my xbox based on serial number, so i can claim it on my taxes and get reimbursed for the value so i can get another one.

ok, my xbox 360 was stolen one day, i still have the serial number wrote down somewhere, actualy in a txt on my desktop, nice and safe, i know. will they be able to tell me the value of my xbox 360 based on my serial number, so when i carry my police report and w2 to HR block they can reimburse me for the stolen property.

the only way to know is to call, but they aren't going to be able to do anything useful for you. perhaps you could use a copy of your reciept for whatever your trying to accomplish? i'm no tax expert, but i've never heard of anyone claiming stolen property as a deductible (although i did see something on dig that linked to the tax booklet somewhere around page 90 claiming that you have to claim stolen property on your taxes unless you return it to the original owner within 1 year jester.gif )
