Ive been reading up on reviews of the 360 wireless headset and some people loooove it, or haaaate it. There is like no in between.

I was debating getting one and was just wondering if any of you use it and how do you like it. Have most if any of the problems been fixed by and MS updates or anything?

Thanks smile.gif

Meh, I'm kind of in between. I love how clear the speaker/mic are, but I hate how small (short) the headset is.

I don't see the point of having a headset if you have a wireless controller. Unless you just hate wires and want to spend the extra money getting one. I don't have one so I have no comment on the use.

I love my wireless headset, though it does act funky when the battery gets slightly low but all in all its great

maybe I'll take the guts of the headset and put them into something more beefier, like a football helmet

Another vote from me for the wireless headset, if you got the spare cash!

Hate it. Not comfortable and too big. Weighs your ear down. Broke when I tried to change to the other ear size.

I'd definitely get it, the one that comes with the 360 not only sucks at being durable, but the sound quality is nowhere near what the wireless one provides, plus it looks kewl happy.gif

my personal opinion... i would love a wireless headset, but the compressed voice data sounds like poop no matter what speaker it comes out of, the wired one does just fine for me, put that money towards a game. look at the realeses comming out in the next few months, jaw dropping!

i got mine when they came out. unless MS has updated the headset since it's original release, i would NOT buy it. it loses signal frequently, after you un-mute it, it gives horrible feedback to everyone else. all around, it is a great idea but mine doesn't work right, as well as many others don't.

I'd say NO to the wireless headset... it's just another thing to add batteries to. Definately stick to the wired one. (wireless controllers are ok though)

I'm not sure that this is the biggest problem with the headsets, there can't be that much interference... Do you have wired or wireless controllers?

Or do you link the headsets to the Xbox like you do the controllers?

Huh? It has a built in rechargeable battery...just plug it in when it starts beeping at you. tongue.gif
