I'm trying to flash the dvd rom and I'm reading the wonderful PDF tutorial but when it tells me to right click on the X-LG folder and open a command prompt and run the flash - my computer doesnt give me that option to open a command prompt on that folder (yes I tried to right click).....

So, I tried the cmd command from "run" and got a command prompt but I dont know how to navigate in DOS to that folder so that I can run the program from that folder.

Any suggestions?

Not sure about the 64bit issue, but with regards to navigating in DOS:

Select drive by typing:
C:
D:
E:
etc.

Navigate up one dir:
cd..

Open a dir:
cd {dir name}

I figured out how to navigate - thanks!

however xp64 just wont run the cmd. I guess whoever wrote the cmd prompt didn't make it compatable with 64 bit .

Thanks for the link to the usb tut. I dont have that though and dont plan on buying one. <--my problem is at step 8 on this tutorial. XP64 simply says it cant run it.

Is there any other flashing app that I could get and install to see if it would work with the 64bit version of windows?
