i need help setting up xbox live. Ive got a wireless router that gives me wireless access to the internet through my pc and im wanting to put a crossover cable from my pc that has a wireless connection to my xbox and share my internet. is there a way to do it without disconnecting internet to my pc so i can have both on internet at same time. tried sharing internet i get no internet connection on my pc when my xbox is on live.

I tried doing that before when I first got Live for the xbox1. After hours of trying I could never get it to work properly. I ended up taking my wireless router from the living room, putting it in the same room as the xbox and plugging it in directly. You might find it much easier (and convenient since the pc doesn't always have to be on) just to buy the wireless adapter.

Maybe someone knows an easy way to set it up but from what I've heard (and experienced) it can be a tricky thing to get working.
