Whats new? ima a noob and was looking into getting an xbox 360. i want, however to be able to play back-up games and original games on it. i have a couple of questions and would be very appreciative if yall could answer me without flaming.

Which one is better, a modchip or fimware; and will it get me banned from xbl?

Will i be able to play my back-up copies on xbl?

Will xbl be able to detect that my system has been modded?

With a Stealth Firmware, ms wont be able to detect that the firmware is diff, right?
Wat about stealth media, wats so good about it?

can i play stealth media on xbl?

and lastly, for now (lol), where can i buy an xbox premodded? i seen a couple at sell.com; is it good to buy there?

sorry 4 all the questions, but if you all could hlp i'd appreciate it. thanx.

yes and as a newcomer, Plse read the rules here.
and the section Before Posting " Is This Update Going To Ban Me" .

on chip vs flash, plse do (as you are suppose to) a minimum reasonable effort of searching before posting. Many obvious questions, for which the answer would have been found easily. By respect to all who invest time in helping us, plse read the following extracted from the rules and thks for your cooperation wink.gif

QUOTE(From the rules @ Dec 2006)

Making Posts/Threads/Topics on these forums:

With that said, it is recommended that before you consider making a post in ANY forum on this site that you first review the Pinned/Sticky Topics at the top of the forum you are interested in. Chances are, anything you might want to ask, has already been asked and answered there. If not, do a search. No one likes to answer the same question a 1000 times. If you make a post that has been done many many time before, staff might close it, or merge it with others.

So.. before making a post, check existing topics.. both pinned, and by search. Still think you should/can make a post?

and finally anything that has to do with buying/Selling should be in the B/S/T section (and respecting the rules on that section).

You really need to read the Posting Rules & Guidlines (Please Read) , DO NOT POST WITHOUT READING 1ST,
