Has anyone actually got this 750GB drive working/ making use of its full potential on an xbox? I've read some threads about people having problems with partitions, etc. If someone has done this and succeeded, what bios do you have? How is each partition formatted? I.E, how much is on the F: and G:

Four people on http://xboxdrives.x-pec.com have said they got this drive to work perfectly. One person used AID 3.10, And said there were no problems at all. He used SmartXXX and X2 5035 Bios on a v1.0. I also have a v1.0. One person said they used xboxhdm v1.9. Another person used BonesXMC360 1.0 Auto-Installer (by PIRATA!) & XBpartitioner.

This last person said this in his post:

Brand: Seagate Firmware: 3.AAD
Model number: ST3750640A Manufacture date: 07034-code
Model name / serie: Barracuda 7200-10 Buffersize: 16 MB
Drive size: 750 GB RPM: 7200
XBOX version: v1.1 Progam(s): BonesXMC360 1.0 Auto-Installer (by PIRATA!) & XBpartitioner

Locking:
Yes

This is the drive: http://www.seagate.c...081,745,00.html
Its a Barracuda 7200.10 model: http://www.seagate.c.../barracuda.html

My specs:
---------------
XBox vers.: 1.1
Modchip: Xecuter 2 Light
BIOS ver.: X2 5035 (read the README1ST and use the right bios for you XBox version)

The bios is set by default to give to F partition all the remaining space of the harddrive. To use this harddrive you MUST enable the F and G partitions together. To do so you MUST mod your bios using the "lba48" utiliy released with the "X2 5035" bios.

Use any EvolutionX based Auto-Installer and format singularly C,E,X,Y,Z partitions.
Then load XBpartitioner and use it to format F and G.
!!!! YOU MUST FORMAT WITH "32k CLUSTERS" IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE "F" and/or "G" BIGGER THEN "250Gb" !!!!
If you format partitions bigger then 250Gb using regular 16k clusters you will have data loss/corruption!
!!!!!!!! EACH PARTITION MUST NOT EXCEED "512Gb" !!!!!!!!
You can use one of the available solution in XBpartitioner (button A). There should be a solution that keeps both partitions under 512Gb!

In my case I have used the default "X2 5035 vOLD" bios modded to have both F & G partitions.
Then I have chosed the solution to format both partitions equals to 370Gb.
Everything is just ok!

P.S.: If you expirience to NOT see any F or G partition in XBMC or from you computer (ftp) after harddrive format and XBox restart, try connecting to the XBox while EvolutionX dashboard is running from some working partition: now you should see all available partitions. Copy on each of them some files, then restart. Now you should be albe to see and manage correctly every partition of your XBox."

Can anyone verify this?
