Is the breaker pro a good mod chip? I want a modded playstation and I would rather not have to solder anything. Thanks for any help.

Breaker Pro is not a modchip, but is used to swap discs. You will still have to use something to pop open the lid to swap the discs. Also it may not work well with multi-disc games like the FF series.

installing a chip in a PS or PSOne is like a beginners tutorial to soldering... there are only 5-8 points and they're all stupid easy.

seriously it takes less then 5 minutes and you can play backups/imports/homebrew right from the disc as if they were originals. Don't waste your time with the swap mods.
