Can someone tell me if this process will work if the dvd key for the drive was accidently overwritten with a key from a different drive. Can I recover the original key from the drive?????

if you used jungleflasher you could check the keydb and see if you have it. Don't know how much drive flashing you did.

You need to use the original PC you flashed it with and then check the keydb in junglefalsher and look for keys in there.

Then just flash and test with those keys. If you have way to many drives done then this would be a task.

If you have the original from that one still, then you could just reflash it, if not then there is one more way.

You can do the RGH (reset glitch hack) and recover your key this way. Works for almost any old xbox 360 except the first ones with no HDMI.

You need probably around $80-100 worth of equipment and parts
You need to know how to solder
You need to read lots of tutorials and understand what steps you must do so you don't mess up your xbox.

If you do not think you can do this, then send it off to someone who can or buy a new xbox and be more careful.

The key was never extracted from the dvd drive with JF. I made the mistake of using the original firmware from another liteon drive and over writing my liteon drive with it. So the only method that would work is RGH????
