I flashed my Samsung MS28 with Xtreme 5.2C - everything went fine and my initial test proved that my originals and their backups worked.

Then I was playing one of the backups and after about 20mins the game hung - 1st of all the drive went quiet, then the sound stopped, then I got the dirty disc error. So I thought nothing of it (this kind of thing used to happen with my oringals pre-flashing anyway) and I powered off.

Anyway, since then none of the originals work, I get the 'insert disc into an xbox' screen. The strange thing is, my backups continue to work fine!

I'm a bit stumped. Could it be something to do with the drive speed (as its flashed with C)?

Any ideas?

Thanks Karlos,

That was what I was thinking, just looking for reassurance I guess.

I'll give it a go and let you know
