So I have the eeprom on the XboxHDM cd. Everything seems to work. Then I get the "Harddrive frozen" error. So I changed the bios setting from 'automaticly detect' to 'user' and it seems to work. The lockhd -a command works fine. It says command executed sucsesfuly. But then under status, it say "security locked: NO"

So, being suspicius, I tried the unlockhd -a command. It returned an error "harddrive not locked".

So...., the harddrive is not locking. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Oh ya, the status after doing the lockhd -a command says "security supported: YES; security enabled: YES" so that should not be the problem.

Well, I used the dos utility on XBHDM, and it said that it was locked.

So, I put it in the Xbox, and lo and behold, it worked!

Anyone know why it was reporting the status wrong.
