Can You Have 2 Hard Drives In Your Xbox

well i know that 2 hdd wont fit inside but that's not the question. i would like to know if you can have 2 hard drives running at the same time. mabie by unhooking the dvd rom and pluging in another hdd. please let me know of any info.

you have to use a switch to select the drive if your running duel drives.

so there's no way you can change the bios on the xbox....or the programing on the hard drive?
i mean if you were to remove the dvd rom and use a hard drive instead. i might start fooling aroung with it and see if i can get it to work. if you have any info please pm or email me at trevornewell@hotmail.com or please post here so others can read also smile.gif

but wouldnt the hard drive just read as d or something on the box i never tried but sounds interresting wink.gif

No, the xbox will fail to boot if it doesnt recognize the dvd-rom drive. you will receive an error upon boot, most likely an error 11 or 12, possibly a 10. give it a shot and see.
