Forewarning to all users. The rom flashing crack is now detectable over XBOX Live. Three of eight people that I know that use the crack have been banned from XBOX live for violations of Terms of Service. One of the three stated that Microsoft explained to him that he was detected using illegal software on his XBOX to play pirated copies of games. This is a warning for everyone, be careful.

thks for the info,

but it does not mean much, we heard of it vaguely as well rolleyes.gif .

It depends which fw, drive, how were the backup made, how it was used...

Most first hand report are that well made backup (from your original) played offline on ixtreme seems to go well.

what do you mean by stealth patch exactly?

and It still means nothing, now it is only 1 you know (others are forum reports form...)

again what is the history,
-Maybe he was logged to be banned while he had his previous FW (before he updated),
-how are the backup made...: if they are not stealth all from original, yes it is very possible he is banned and not the fault of the FW.

not saying it is not true, just that you come with big claims based on hearsay and no true solid facts.

Do not misunderstand me, we would like the info. But bring some real meat, we hear so many of these someone told me that...

It is know the firmware will boot files with the wrong PFI/DMI (i.e. many illegal iso's in the wild).

This can easily be detected my MS and bans can occur.

It is also known that MS has been capturing information for a long time. If people used backups at any time in the past the system may already be logged and MS has just not gotten around to banning them yet.

There are even theories that the box records being powered with the SATA cable disconnected (which many people did in the past)

I will only believe there is a problem when the following things happen.

1. A brand new xbox, all seals intact is flashed to ixtreme using an external power supply.

2. The user backs up his own games with the proper tools.

3. The user finds himself banned from using those backups online.
