Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum, but i wasn't sure where else to post it. I want to use the 3d tilted movie icons from mediaicons.org in xbmc but they all have white backrounds that look terrible. How can I make these backrounds transparent? I do not have photoshop, but I do have imageready. Thanks

What skin are you having problems with? They look fine to me in PM3, transparency and all.

mc360. A white square shows up around them... maybe I'm using the wrong format? I'm just saving them as jpgs as they are on the site

When you find the icon you like on the site, you click the download button. Now you right-click on the image and click Save-As, it will be in .PNG format.

Now save it to your hdd. Rename it to folder.jpg
It will still be in original png format, but now xbmc can recognize it as the folder thumbnail.

You should be good after you follow these steps.
