hi guys
i just scored a ps2 and want to get it chipped.what do you guys recomend as a good chip.i want the standard stuff(backups,homebrew,etc.)ive searched around and it seems like theres a lot of different stuff.i have a version 1 ps2 by the way.thanks.

I have the DMS chip, I love the DMS series and highly recommend them.

Crystal, Matrix Infinity, DMS, Duo 3 are some of the chips to look into, with the last one being the cheapest.

Duos work great for just straight up backups - but something like a Crystal will give you more homebrew options (and slightly better boot success rates).
