long story short. i see wierd little dots and lines across the screen (especially in darker areas) and other graphical glitches. is this a pre-symtom of the oh-so-feared 3rlod? i hope not. this is my second one... first one was taken back pre-emptively as it was freezing cosntantly...

Which game is this in, or is it all of them? Also, where is your 360 and how hot is it getting?

Possibly the GPU overheating. I'd take it back if its still under warranty. If not then try a couple of cooling mods and see if that helps.

sounds like a launch unit, many launch units did that, you probably ended up with a refurb.

Yep, the GPU or RAM is starting to die, classic symptoms of a dying 360... Looks lik your going to have to send your 360 away...

yeah its possible. bevause im a kid and short on cash i bought a pre-owned one from GAME, so taking it back wont be a problem - had to take my initall console back after 1 week. this one (number II) has lasted about 3 weeks... so now im wondering wether maybe im doing something wrong...

as for the problem, it happens in sc:da and just cause (my only games atm) - didnt happen before, just started and getting more and more intense... ill probalby just wait for it to die compeltely, that way i wont get any fuss when i take it back.

ill see if i can get a shot of where my 360 is, to see if maybe the layour is hazardous...
