Right I've only once got my drive to dump my original firmware using the bad flash method. And after 30 + more tries of getting to actually flash it i've officially given up biggrin.gif So i was wondering if there was a diffenrent method where i didnt have to wait to turn it back on for it to start dumping, because it simply wont work for me.

Sorry, i must sound like a real noob laugh.gif

Cheers

There is the VCC trick.. but it requires soldering...

If you got it to read once.. you have everything set up right and it should flash...

I know it canbe frustrating and tempormental... updating your PC BIOS has helped.. other people disconnect all other IDE/SATA devices others have said it helps to have them plugged in.
