I was looking up DMCA information to learn more about it can came across this bill that has been in front of Congress twice now. Here is the Wikipedia info on it http://en.wikipedia......s'_Rights_Act

I think it has some good points in it though I'm not a lawyer so there might be some complications because of this bill. I wanted to hear some responses on it. I really want to get involved in supporting fellow modders by writing to Congress, Senate, etc. to change the DMCA. Just because I have a soldering gun that doesn't make me a criminal.

There is a bit more to it than that. Nobody gets the treatment for having a soldering iron or for fitting LEDs etc.
