I am looking to get an xbox 360, but before i do i want to make sure that i can play backed up games. I know it can be done(at least most of the time from what i have read) but i cant find (anywhere) a step by step tutorial of what i would need to do to make that happen. Can some one please help
Thanks you

READ the pinned topics and tutorials.

We don't have time to spoon feed everyone basic info when it is readily availible and easy to find at the top of the forum.

read the pinned topics in the DVD Firmare Modification section, there is a great tutorial there.

if you end up with a BenQ drive, you won't be able to mod it.
if you get a hitachi 79fk drive, you will have to put a chip in the drive before you can flash it, otherwise you can flash purely through software.
