Haze a PS3 exclusive...for now
Posted by XanTium | 31-8-2007 21:42 EST

From gamesindustry.biz:

Free Radical's upcoming first-person shooter, Haze, is only in development for PS3 according to Ubisoft.

The publisher, in a statement to Gamespot, has indicated that "The official statement on PC and Xbox 360 is that these platforms are not confirmed."

This is just good marketing. It's always been PS3 only 2007. So why not try and ride that exclusive train and then re-announce multiplatform status after the PS3 version has dropped. I think Sony fans are pretty happy to support third party exclusives after the amount of exclusives titles they have lost so far this gen.

So far, Haze is a must-own for me. If I find out it is for sure coming to PC, I will upgrade my computer for it. But regardless, this is the 1st game that has made me even consider owning a PS3.

Yep when these things hit 300$ im buying one. This is PS3's BIG answer to Halo. I hate to say that it will probably be better.

Not that looks are everything, im sure the gameplay will match. Hope the online aspect of sony will mature to match XBL.

Damn good lookin game!
